Halloween is here, which means carving pumpkins, scary movies, and of course lots of tricks and treats. While we all love delicious goodies, we don’t necessarily love how they make us feel or the weight we might gain. As we gear up for the holiday season, weight gain is incredibly common…and frustrating. We’ve put together some tips on how to enjoy a healthy Halloween!
Tips to Avoid Back Pain During Holiday Travel
The holiday season has just begin, meaning many of us are preparing for holiday travel to visit family and friends. While we can't wait to see our loved ones, the stress and strains of travel are not something to look forward to. Traveling is only worse for those already suffering from back and neck pain, and holiday travel can be a particularly stressful and painful time. We’ve put together some tips on how to minimize that pain.
How to Have a Healthier Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time for reflection and appreciating all that we have in our lives. It is also a day centered on parades, family, football, and food. Many of us find ourselves eating a few too many helpings of sweet potato casserole and hitting the couch for a nap. If that sounds like you, and your Thanksgiving routine leaves you feeling tired and groggy, we suggest making a few small changes to your routine for a healthier holiday.
"I was experiencing a lot of pain in my feet following the birth of my son. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in both feet. After seeing my PCP and being prescribed anti-inflammatory medication, I looked into the benefits of Chiropractic care. I was in so much pain from the plantar fasciitis that is because difficult for me to walk. I was unable to carry my newborn and walk because I was concerned for his safety. As part of my care plan, custom orthotics were recommended. Within days of receiving my orthotics I had a reduction in my pain. Regular Chiropractic visits and my orthotics have allowed me to be able to care for my son again!"
