Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is one of the most common and well-known massage techniques. The focus is mainly on energizing the body and promoting circulation. It consists of five basic strokes, all flowing toward the heart, designed to warm up the muscle tissues. When this technique is used, only the area that is being worked is exposed. Therapists use a combination of kneading, rolling, and effleurage (a gliding stroke that is unique to Swedish massage). The many benefits of Swedish massage may include generalized relaxation, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, and improved circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.
"Very pleased with the practice. The service is excellent and everyone seems to truly care about you as a person first. Most businesses see customers or money walking in, but these practitioners love what they do. It shows."
